About
I'm a Computer Science graduate from Cal Poly Pomona with a focus on full-stack web development and self-hosted infrastructure. I like building things that solve real problems — from AI-powered productivity tools to inventory systems and mobile apps.
Outside of coursework, I've been running my own homelab: a suite of containerized services on repurposed hardware that's taught me more about Linux, networking, and DevOps than any class has.
Projects
A full-stack web application that helps users generate job-targeted resumes using saved profile data, job descriptions, and AI-assisted rewriting. I built the frontend (dashboard, profile editor, saved resumes, job tracker) with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, and implemented a Flask + MongoDB backend handling authentication, profile storage, resume version management, and application tracking. Integrated the OpenAI API (GPT-4o mini) to tailor resume content to specific job postings.
A full-stack inventory management app built for a local business. Features session-based auth with admin and regular user roles, product CRUD across eight categories, and AJAX stock adjustments with no page reloads. Includes sales tracking with weekly, monthly, and all-time revenue reports, a low/out-of-stock alerts sidebar, an activity log with timestamps, CSV export, full English/Español bilingual support, and a GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline that deploys to Vercel on every push to main.
A home server running a suite of containerized services for media streaming, network-wide ad blocking, and secure remote access. Installed Ubuntu Server on repurposed hardware (an old MacBook) and deployed every service as a Docker container managed through Portainer. Services include Jellyfin, Pi-hole, a Homepage dashboard, Nextcloud for personal cloud storage, and Firefly III for finance tracking. Configured secure remote access via Tailscale, handled DNS configuration, and troubleshot real-world networking issues including client-certificate conflicts traced back to Pi-hole's blocking-mode configuration.
A full-stack mobile app that lets users discover, save, and share hidden local spots through user-generated posts and images. Built in Flutter and Dart with responsive screens for discovery, favorites, spot details, profile, settings, and account management. Integrated Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Storage for secure login, real-time data storage, and image uploads. Includes search and category filtering, live favorites syncing, and moderation tools for reporting and client-side content filtering.
A statistical modeling project using a real-world Kaggle dataset to predict a continuous outcome variable. Built multiple linear regression models incorporating interaction and polynomial terms, evaluated performance with R² and AIC criteria, and compared results through diagnostic plots and statistical summaries to identify the most predictive model.
